Stand Up and Speak, with locations in Mississauga, Milton and Orangeville, is a public speaking academy that builds confidence in kids and teens through fun, engaging learning. Since 2001, we’ve helped students find their voice and speak with purpose. Our summer camps and after-school programs focus on speech writing, storytelling, impromptu speaking, debating, and interview preparation. Whether your child is shy or outgoing, they’ll gain skills to communicate clearly and confidently. With small class sizes and a supportive environment we help every student feel heard, seen and ready to stand up and speak in school, on stage, and in life.

At Stand Up and Speak, we focus 100% on public speaking. No other subjects, no tutoring, just confidence. We’ve taught over 15,000 students since 2001 and work with 450 students weekly. Our programs aren’t lecture based; they’re interactive, high energy, and coached by passionate speakers and teachers. We teach real-life skills like impromptu speaking, debating, and presentations in a fun, supportive environment. Kids aren’t just memorizing, they’re growing. With our award-winning competitive program, students participate in multiple contests throughout the year; learning from evaluations and other contestants. Parents choose us because their children don’t just attend, they transform. We build confident communicators for life.

Our staff are experienced communicators, educators, and public speakers who specialize in working with children and teens. Every coach completes our Train-the-Trainer certification, plus in-class audits and ongoing mentorship. Many have backgrounds in education, debate, and speech competitions. All staff must pass vulnerable sector checks. We pride ourselves on consistency, many team members return year after year, bringing energy, empathy, and professionalism. Our students are guided by mentors who empower, motivate and share their passion for standing up and speaking with confidence.
More details about accommodations: Our programs are held in a professional, fully indoor public speaking studio located in Mississauga. The space is designed to reflect a real-world communication environment—equipped with bright classrooms, presentation spaces, open floor space for practicing body language, and video tools for speech review and evaluation.
