Class Description – Primary Competitive (Grades 1–3)

Mississauga – Saturdays

Our award-winning Primary Competitive Program helps students in Grades 1-3 build confidence, develop strong communication skills, and learn to express themselves clearly and effectively. Through weekly sessions, students gain experience in speech writing and delivery, impromptu speaking, conversation skills, debating, and overcoming nervousness.

In a fun, supportive environment, students receive personalized coaching, participate in mock debates, and gain valuable experience by competing in local contests. The program fosters leadership, self-assurance, and peer learning.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

Courage: Public speaking builds courage by helping students face fears, speak in front of others, and step outside their comfort zone. Each time they present, they grow braver, learning to try new things, handle uncertainty, and express themselves with confidence.
Self-regulation: Public speaking develops self-regulation as students learn to manage nerves, stay focused, and organize their thoughts under pressure. They practice discipline, control emotions, and build the confidence to communicate clearly and calmly.
