Class Description – Intermediate Competitive (Ages 12–14)

Mississauga – Saturdays at 12:00 PM

Our award-winning Intermediate Competitive Program is designed for students ages 12 to 14 who are ready to take their public speaking and leadership skills to the next level. Participants develop advanced techniques in speech writing and delivery, impromptu speaking, debating, and persuasive communication—all while refining their ability to present with poise and confidence.

In a dynamic, coach-led environment, students engage in structured peer critiques, mock debates, and real-time presentations. With personalized feedback and growing exposure to local competitions, students gain the confidence and command to speak with impact in high-pressure settings.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

Courage: Students step outside their comfort zone by speaking in front of peers, judges, and large audiences. Through debates, impromptu challenges, and competitions, they build the courage to express bold ideas clearly and handle pressure with growing confidence.
Self-regulation: Participants learn to manage nerves, organize thoughts quickly, and maintain composure during high-stakes speaking tasks. Video feedback and personalized coaching help them build the emotional awareness and discipline needed to perform with control and consistency.
