Carnival Week – Fun, Laughter, and Adventure!

At GlenOak Academy Summer Camp, we provide a traditional summer camp experience that's fun, engaging, and full of hands-on learning! Each week, our camp is built around a unique theme, giving campers the opportunity to dive into exciting activities that spark their curiosity and creativity. 

What makes our camp special?
GlenOak Academy Summer Camp combines fun learning opportunities with interactive and age-appropriate activities that inspire growth and exploration. Campers experience a balance of academics (led by certified teachers), arts, and recreational physical activity while making memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Our camp is designed to foster learning in a holistic and exciting way.

What will your child experience?
This week, campers will step into a world of carnival excitement, exploring games, booths, and silly shows that spark joy and creativity. Each day brings hands-on activities full of color, laughter, and teamwork. Campers will play classic carnival games, try face painting, and enjoy interactive shows that keep the fun going all week. By the end of the week, they’ll leave with memories of laughter, friendship, and the thrill of the carnival!

A typical day at camp:
Each morning begins with a fun, large-group gathering filled with energizing games or interactive challenges. Campers then dive into smaller, age-based groups for themed lessons and activities, practicing Language, Math, and Science skills aligned with the Ontario Curriculum. They'll create decade-inspired crafts, participate in themed games, and enjoy outdoor play. Weekly highlights also include trips to the park or unique on-site field trips that enhance the week’s theme.

Friday Fun:
Fridays are packed with excitement! Campers are encouraged to showcase their learning and creativity as well as enjoy a provided pizza lunch. We’ll wrap up Carnival Week with a Grand Carnival Celebration that brings all the fun, colour, and excitement together in one unforgettable day! Campers will rotate through classic and creative carnival stations, think games, challenges, and skill-based activities, earning tickets or points as they go.
