March Break Half-Day Camp
From March 16 to 20, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Stand Up and Speak offers a dynamic March Break Half-Day Camp designed to build confidence through the power of communication. Over 20 hours of interactive training, students explore impromptu speaking, speech writing, debating, TED-style talks, interview preparation, and leadership skills. Each day includes class discussions, mock debates, and the chance to present both prepared and impromptu speeches. With video evaluations and supportive feedback, participants gain real-world presentation experience in a fun, engaging environment. Guided by passionate teachers, campers develop lifelong communication skills while building self-assurance and enjoying a memorable March Break.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

Self-regulation: By managing nerves during impromptu speaking and staying focused through structured activities, students learn to control emotions, pace themselves, and adapt under pressure. This strengthens their ability to remain calm and effective in any situation.
Courage: Standing up to deliver a speech or take part in a debate requires bravery. Campers gain the courage to share their ideas publicly, take risks in expressing themselves, and embrace challenges with confidence.
