What is ultimate frisbee?

Ultimate frisbee is a non-contact, fast-paced sport played by thousands worldwide. The object is to get a plastic disc into the opponent team’s end zone. Players need to have good throwing and catching skills, and solid stamina and agility. However, ultimate can be played at the beginner or the advanced level.

What do ultimate frisbee camps have to offer my child?

At an ultimate camp, your child will be taught the rules of the sport by a trained instructor. They’ll also be drilled in the fundamentals, such as offensive and defensive schemes, throwing and catching techniques, positioning, and strategy (such as stack, plinko, zone, hexagon, and isolation). And in most camps, your child will play in regular games with kids of a similar age and level.

This can be a great summer or winter activity for your child. It can reap a number of rewards, including the following:
