Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the fastest growing areas of software engineering, appearing in almost every industry. Participants will learn about the newest developments within AI and how these systems use different techniques to help humans efficiently solve problems. Participants will be tasked with constructing a system of their own that they will program and train. Participants will explore the societal implications of AI, such as the ethical considerations of using biased data.

Activity example: In the AI Image Game, participants will learn how to train an AI image recognition model to control a game using gestures, and experiment with strategies to improve the model for better performance while playing.



Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Responsibility: Participants will explore the societal implications of AI, such as the ethical considerations of using biased data.
  • Creativity: Participants will be tasked with constructing a system of their own that they will program and train
