Get ready to explore the world of coding in this virtual summer adventure! In Python Playground, participants will dive into one of the most popular programming languages in the world, learning to create, experiment, and solve challenges just like a Software Engineer—in a playful, hands-on way. No prior coding experience is needed, just curiosity, creativity, and a love of exploration!
Throughout the week, students dive into the core skills of Python, including Input and Output, Data Types and Errors, Conditionals, and Loops. Each day, they focus on a specific skill, applying it to build a program using the Engineering Design Process and seeing firsthand how it works in real-world scenarios. Students design programs, including chatbots, games, cybersecurity applications, and more.
As the week unfolds, participants steadily expand their Python toolkit and explore the world of software engineering. They tackle problems through debugging, gaining hands-on experience that equips them to continue learning and creating with Python long after leaving our virtual classroom.
This program features the same content as the Summer 2025 Learning to Code – Beginner Python camp.
