Campers will learn alongside female mentors who will spark their interest in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). The camp gives campers an opportunity to build self-confidence and develop their STEAM skills through hands-on learning while exploring the LEGO robotics environment. Activities will be geared to the interests of girls and will include creating and programming their own robotic designs. Campers will discover many elements of the Engineering Design Process. New design challenges and programming skills will be introduced over the week. Smaller groups will be formed on the first day of camp based on age and experience to provide more advanced activities for campers with previous experience.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Curiosity: Develop skills in science, technology, engineering, and math
  • Interpersonal skills: Engage in problem-solving alongside female mentors
