At Camp Ak-O-Mak, our main program offers girls aged 7 to 16 an unforgettable summer experience filled with sports, outdoor adventures, and personal growth, completely technology-free. Designed to welcome campers of all skill levels, our program encourages girls to try new activities, build teamwork, and develop confidence in a safe, supportive environment.

From swimming and canoeing to team sports and creative challenges, each day is packed with opportunities to explore talents, make lifelong friendships, and connect deeply with nature, without the distractions of screens or devices.

We offer a range of program sessions from 2 to 7 weeks, giving families the flexibility to choose the experience that best fits their schedule. Our experienced staff are dedicated to fostering a positive community where every girl feels empowered to grow stronger, braver, and more independent.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

Resilience: At Camp Ak-O-Mak, girls build resilience by stepping outside their comfort zones. Through challenges in sport and outdoor adventure, they grow stronger, more confident, and carry that sense of self long after camp ends.
Independence: Camp Ak-O-Mak nurtures independence in girls by providing opportunities for self-directed exploration and decision-making. Through a supportive atmosphere, we encourage each girl to discover her strengths and capabilities, fostering a sense of confidence and autonomy.
