At VegCamp, every day is filled with opportunities to connect with nature, try new activities, and make thoughtful choices that are kind to the Earth, animals, and people. 

Courageous Carrots is an overnight camp experience for middle schoolers ready to explore, take on new challenges, and grow with confidence. Campers spend their days discovering the outdoors, trying creative projects, and engaging in adventures that inspire curiosity, thoughtful choices, and leadership. Along the way, they step beyond their comfort zones, build courage and resilience, and learn to care for the Earth and animals. In this nurturing and supportive community, campers form lasting friendships, create meaningful memories in nature, and grow into confident, capable, and thoughtful young leaders

A typical day includes a mix of:

A day at VegCamp is packed with adventure, creativity, and fun! Campers start with a yummy, nutritious breakfast, then dive into hands-on workshops exploring how people, animals, and the environment are all connected. Campers stretch and gain focus with yoga and mindfulness before heading out for thrilling outdoor challenges like climbing, high ropes, archery, wilderness survival games, obstacle courses, or organic farming. After a hearty lunch, campers participate in guided activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, team games, or quiet time, all designed to encourage connection, creativity, and collaboration. Healthy snacks—including fresh fruit—are available throughout the day. Dinner refuels everyone for evening adventures, which sparkle with campfires, stargazing, house games, and silly talent shows, helping campers build confidence, teamwork, and a strong sense of community. Each day ends in the dorms with counsellor check-ins, stories, and lounge games, with a tasty evening snack to round out the day, leaving everyone excited for the next adventure.
