    About Elite Basketball Camps

Elite Camps has been running year-round basketball programs in the GTA since 1999.  We cater to over 6,000 athletes yearly making us one of the largest and longest-running basketball camps in Canada.  Our year-round programming includes day camps, weekly lessons, house leagues, and Academy, We run our programs throughout the GTA including Toronto, Thornhill, Richmond Hill, and Newmarket.

In 2011 Hoop Dreams Overnight Basketball Camp was created. As the demand for our overnight program increased, we outgrew our rental location and in 2018 Elite Camps purchased a lakefront property on the South Bruce Peninsula that has become the Elite Camps Outdoor Leadership Centre, home to Canada's only dedicated overnight basketball camp.

    Excellent Experience
    Rahim Shah (Parent)

I have had my son enrolled at Elite camps for the past 4 years, and have had excellent experiences throughout. The coaches are fantastic, lots of personal attention for all the kids, fantastic skills development and a strong emphasis on sportsmanship and teamwork. My son has done the weekly programs, d-league and summer camps and has loved all of them. Recommend highly ... Read More

A great facility and even better staff
    Andrew Sulatycki (Parent)

A great facility and even better staff. My son has done numerous weekly lessons and small group sessions at Elite. There is always a good ratio of coaches to athletes, and there are always varsity collegiate or university level coaches leading the sessions. I like that with younger athletes they really emphasize fundamentals and skill development through fun drills and games. The coaches really make an effort to connect with the kids. For parents looking for a great environment and program to develop their child's basketball skills I highly recommend Elite Camps ... Read More

    Highly recommend Elite
    Dave Smith (Parent)

We couldn't more highly recommend Elite. Our only really worry is that it will become so popular, that we'll get squeezed out! No flaws. Lovely caring attention people. Totally very fair and empathic on how they handled COVID. Plan to be there indefinitely ... Read More

My daughter loves the coaches and love the quality of coaching
    Laurel Johnson (Parent)

My 10 year old daughter has been involved with Elite for the past 3 years. She loves the coaches and I love the quality of coaching. She participated in one of the semi-private "pod" trainings focusing on ball handling and she improved dramatically over the course of the 10 weeks. It was amazing. Prior, she was not at all comfortable handling the ball with her weak hand and then by the end, she was doing it very comfortably and even doing fancy two-ball drills. I thought the pod training with only ball handling drills would be boring for a 10 year old girl, but she loved it! Rudy is absolutely amazing in his teaching, coaching, and mentoring. He gives such personal attention and is honest in his assessments and recommendations. He knows how to build quality basketball players with repetition to promote muscle memory. And he seems to do it in an engaging way that the kids respond to! All the staff at Elite, including the owners, Stephanie and Dave, are so passionate about what they do and it shows. They welcome each player into the Elite family and provide a quality service that they should be proud of. Thank you, Elite ... Read More

    Would highly recommend....Elite is elite!
    Lisa Puccetti (Parent)

A skill development organization focused on high performance basketball training and all around player growth. We have two kids currently attending ECTC - each at various stages in their skill development. Both love this place! Elite approaches basketball development from the ground up - from technical skills to game strategy. Their programs and camps foster a real love and appreciation for the game as well as a respect for their fellow players. Would highly recommend...Elite is elite ... Read More

    Leagh Turner (Parent)

Everything about Elite Camps is top shelf - the coaches, the skill development, the positivity and the translation of lessons learned through basketball to applicability in life etc. Both our boys have spent years at Elite. Without question they are better basketball players, but more importantly, they are better humans as a result of the interaction ... Read More

    Highly recommend
    JL (Parent)

My son has been going to this facility for almost a year now and he absolutely loves it here. It really got him out of his shell and has brought out the best in him. Amazing friendly coaches and a well-organized staff with all around with great uplifting attitudes, they are very good with kids and very very informative all while knowing how to have fun. There is a lot of parking around the building - Wi-Fi - vending machines - lots of chairs and benches to sit and great pricing. The facility is clean and washrooms are sterile but is to be expected since the place has only been open for a few months to my knowledge. I cannot think of any cons about Elite Camps. I Highly recommend for any child who needs to get out of their rooms more especially for the summer ... Read More

    Our Third Year
    Anthony Edwards (Parent)

This is my son's third year attending Elite Summer Camps. His first year helped him develop foundational skills and more importantly the confidence and encouragement to find his passion in the game. Elite Camps have a wonderful way of making hard work a lot of fun and for that reason we look forward to attending Rep Camp and other Elite programs for the foreseeable future. Many thanks to the coaches who make the experience meaningful and fun for these kids ... Read More

    Huge Fans Of Elite
    Leanne Elliott (Parent)

Our family are huge fans of Elite Camps! Each of our three boys have participated for several years in both the skill development sessions and the D-League. The facilities are terrific but it is the coaches that make these programs so great. They have the right balance of focusing on skill development and fair play, while ensuring all the kids are included, improving and having fun. We never have to ask our kids twice when it's time for Elite, just wish I had access to a program like this as a kid ... Read More
