Self-regulation: Sport is emotional. Learning to regulate your emotions after a loss, or failure is a life skill that sport teaches over and over again. Our life skill curriculum highlights how to self-regulate in sport and in life.
Resilience: Sport provides athletes an environment where trying new things and failing at them is normal and in fact, encouraged. Through our life skills curriculum, athletes learn that in order to succeed they must be willing to step outside their comfort zone and work to turn failure into success.
