The Elite Camps basketball ball-handling camp will teach participants the ball handling and dribbling skills, drills, and techniques they need to master and navigate the court with complete confidence. The camp offers a creative and exciting curriculum that will teach the athletes how to cross-over defenders, develop their handles, and continue to train on their own. The curriculum focuses on individual skill development in ball handling & dribbling, a competitive environment, and progresses from individual moves to drives and team aspects of penetration and kick.
Character Development: This program helps build the following traits
Self-regulation: Sport is emotional. Learning to regulate your emotions after a loss, or failure is a life skill that sport teaches over and over again. Our life skill curriculum highlights how to self-regulate in sports and in life.
Resilience: Sport provides athletes an environment where trying new things and failing at them is normal and in fact, encouraged. Through our life skills curriculum, athletes learn that in order to succeed they must be willing to step outside their comfort zone and work to turn failure into success.
