Strong Food - Cooking and Nutrition Camp is the perfect opportunity for children to learn how to be fantastic cooks and healthy-minded eaters for life! Each day focuses on a different recipe, with each week having a different theme. Students learn cooking techniques such as prepping, timing, proper heat maintenance, balancing flavours and plating. They learn nutritional principles of each of the meals and have a thorough understanding of nutrition by the end of the program. All food focuses on a healthy emphasis on everyone’s favourite food (think healthy pasta and gorgeous healthy gourmet cookies!). Classes have an emphasis on safety and operating with prevention and cut-safe tools and equipment.
