Step behind the curtain and discover how theatre comes to life in this hands-on Theatre Design Camp. Guided by scenic designer Meredith Wolting, students will design and build sets, costumes, props, and scenic elements while exploring the creative process behind live theatre.

From concept to creation, campers will collaborate, experiment, and bring their ideas to life through real design work used in a final Friday presentation for family and friends. This is a unique opportunity to see your creativity take shape on stage—literally.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

Creativity: Students explore creativity by designing sets, costumes, and scenic elements that bring stories to life. Through hands-on experimentation and guided instruction, they transform ideas into visual theatre designs seen in a final showcase.
Curiosity: Students build curiosity by exploring how theatre is created behind the scenes. They ask questions, test ideas, and discover how design choices shape storytelling through sets, costumes, and scenic painting in a collaborative environment.
