Scrub in and get ready to EXPLORE the fascinating world of medicine head to toe!
In Explore Med, campers dive into the inner workings of the human body and discover how specialized healthcare professionals keep us healthy. From the brain and nervous system to the eyes, ears, and nose, all the way to the skin the body’s largest organ plus the digestive system, kidneys, pet health, veterinary medicine, and first aid, campers investigate vital medical science topics through fun, hands-on activities as part of our STEM-accredited program, ranked in the top 10% worldwide by STEM.org in 2025.

Campers explore the nervous system and learn how the brain processes information. They dive into the five senses, discover conditions that affect them, and meet the doctors who treat them. They learn sign language, explore nutrition, challenge their taste buds, and see how doctors use touch, sight, and hearing to diagnose patients. They step into the role of dermatologists, performing mock chemical peels and treating “pomegranate pimples.” They become veterinarians as they examine and treat pretend pets, and take on the role of surgeons performing mock surgical procedures. Campers also observe real sheep brain and kidney specimens, deepening their understanding of anatomy and organ function all while building essential STEM and first aid skills.

Each day brings exciting discoveries through age-appropriate, hands-on activities unique to this level. From identifying parts of the brain and their functions to mastering first aid, tackling pet health challenges, and creatively investigating digestion and the senses, campers engage in interactive, real-world learning that builds confidence, curiosity, and a deeper understanding of health, medicine, and the amazing capabilities of the human body.
