Two Week Traditional Camp is the quintessential camper experience. We will focus on skill development, relationships building and developing independence. Campers will be encouraged to work towards earning their levels each day at camp programs while building memories to last a lifetime.
Campers will have the opportunity to select their own program each day. Whether they are interested in learning how to canoe, build a fire and make bracelets in arts in crafts there is something for everyone! Campers will take part in a large camp wide program each evening which allows campers of all ages to get to know one another and share in their camp experience.
Character Development: This program helps build the following traits
Independence: Campers will build independence as they choose their daily activities, navigate friendship and spend time away from their family. Campers will leave feeling they can accomplish more at home whether it's making the bed, meeting new people or joining a new activity at school.
Responsibility: Campers will be responsible for caring for their own possessions, following a schedule and working as part of a team while at camp. While spending time away from home campers will discover what is needed in order to be a part of a happy and thriving community and what their role in that is.
