As a family-run operation, campers and staff become part of our family during their stay and long after!! Days are busy and fun-filled using the great outdoors of God's creation to learn new skills, make new friends and learn how to work and play cooperatively. Independence is a key skill that campers come away with as well. Bonding with their horse is a unique experience and campers become a large part of their horse's life for that week. Alumni still remember the name of their first horse and the wonderful memories of camp. Swimming in our refreshing salt-water pool is a popular activity. Of course, other activities such as archery, Ninja Ropes, Mini-putt, beach volleyball, gaga ball, etc., make for exciting times.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

Independence: We observe how, through being responsible for making their own bunk, keeping their area clean & tidy, taking care of their personal cleanliness & grooming and getting to activities in a timely fashion, etc., kids learn, quite often for the first time, to look after themselves without parental help.
Curiosity: By living closely together for a week campers understand that each person’s emotions & behaviours are different and come into play on a regular basis. They learn it’s important to discuss, listen to and solve any issues collaboratively. Leadership means working with each other’s strengths.
