Rooted in a forest & nature school-inspired approach, with a dedication to learning outdoors, Nature School is a seasonal immersive outdoor play-based program designed for children ages 6-10.

This program is deeply rooted in inquiry-based learning. Sessions feature outdoor activities such as exploring the urban wild, shelter building, fire-based programming, tool use and process-driven arts with natural materials; wood, fibres and clay. Storytelling, games, and music round out a learning experience designed to inspire young learners and encourage curiosity, confidence and community.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Curiosity: Evergreen’s Nature School program is child-led. We love and encourage when campers ask questions, investigate nature mysteries and follow their natural curiosities.
  • Resilience: Evergreen’s Nature School allows campers to try new things and learn about themselves in the process. We encourage campers to take risks and embrace new experiences.
