The Youth New Musical Theatre Intensive (NMTI) is a unique and specialized two-week program, designed for young performers with a variety of experience looking to develop and challenge their skills and be part of collaborating and developing new musical theatre material. Participants will dive into singing and staging challenging repertoire while working with classmates, instructors and local industry writers to develop new songs and scenes based on their own insights and experiences. The program culminates in a final performance in Bravo’s studio theatre.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

  • 1 Musical Theatre Piece (32 bars)
  • Artist Statement about why you want to take part in the Youth Intensive

Admission via audition (applicants accepted on a rolling basis until all spots are filled)


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Creativity: Participants will dive into singing and staging challenging repertoire while working with classmates, instructors, and local industry writers to develop new songs and scenes based on their own insights and experiences.
  • Courage: Through performance art, students are taught the tools to grow confidence in all aspects of their personal development.
