U4 Outdoor Recreational Program 2026

Our Little Kickers – Foundations program is designed to give young children a fun, positive, and confidence-building introduction to soccer. This once-a-week program focuses on developing Fundamental Movement Skills such as running, jumping, balance, coordination, agility, and overall motor skill development—all essential for long-term athletic growth. 

Sessions are built around engaging, age-appropriate activities that keep players active, smiling, and learning without pressure. Through playful soccer-based games, children begin to develop ball control, body awareness, and early teamwork skills while naturally building confidence and independence. 

A typical session starts with a fun warm-up focused on movement and coordination, followed by interactive skill-based activities designed to maximize ball touches. Players then take part in small-sided games that encourage creativity, teamwork, and enjoyment in a supportive environment. 

Led by enthusiastic Champions FC coaches and junior coaches, we maintain a player-to-coach ratio of 8:1 or better to ensure every child receives individual attention and encouragement throughout the session. 

One of the unique aspects of our program is that parent participation is not required. This allows children to gradually build independence, social confidence, and comfort in a structured setting while still feeling supported by our coaching team. 

At Champions FC, we focus on creating an experience where children feel excited to come each week by making new friends, developing key skills, and taking their first steps in soccer with confidence and joy.
