Level 1 – 1:1 Web Dev – Html, CSS

The Internet and the Web are an essential part of our everyday lives — but have you ever wondered how websites actually work? In this engaging course, students will discover the magic behind the screens by learning how to design and build modern web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

The course begins with the fundamentals of HTML (HyperText Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), where students will learn how to structure and style their own web pages. They’ll get hands-on experience coding projects on topics of their choice — from personal profiles and hobby pages to mini portfolios and creative digital posters.

Once students have mastered creating static pages, they’ll move on to JavaScript, the programming language that brings websites to life! Through interactive lessons, they’ll learn how to make web pages dynamic and responsive — changing text, creating pop-up messages, handling user input, and validating data in forms.

At advanced levels, students will explore server-side programming, gaining an understanding of how web servers and databases communicate. They’ll even build real-time web applications, combining creativity and logic to solve real-world problems through code.

By the end of this course, students will have a strong grasp of how the web works and the confidence to design, build, and publish their own fully functional websites — an exciting first step into the world of modern web development!
