Nature Builders (Grade 1)

Nature’s little engineers, get ready to explore, design, and build!

From the cozy curve of a bird’s nest to the sturdy structure of a beaver’s dam, engineering is all around us in the natural world. In this camp, our budding builders will discover how animals solve problems, then use those ideas to create imaginative designs of their own. With hands‑on activities, teamwork, and lots of creative problem‑solving, campers will learn, play, and gain confidence every step of the way.

Join this camp if you love to design and build, and who would benefit from a fun, gentle introduction to classroom routines before starting Grade 1. Come explore nature, engineer awesome creations, and step into Grade 1 feeling ready and excited!

Camp Hours: 9:00am - 3:00 pm

Grade Level: Register for the grade that your camper will be entering in the fall of 2026.

Recess & Lunch: Participants will get outside for approximately a 30-minute recess and hour-long lunch each day*

Activities: In our camps we will have a variety of activities including engineering building challenges, coding projects, experiments, creative design projects, and more.

Before & After Care: For campers entering grades 1-10, we offer before and after care options along with our camps to try and accommodate the busy lives of parents/guardians. Before care runs each day of the camp (except for the first day) from 8am to 9am, and after care runs each day from 3pm to 4pm. Parents may purchase either option with their registration.

- Before Care Pricing: $30-$40 for the week (depending on the week selected)**
