Learn basic woodworking skills in a safe, exploration-based environment! Students will learn basic safety practices, hand tools, construction techniques, and finishing methods. No experience required! 

New to woodworking? Come join us in a fun, exploration-based environment to learn how to work with wood safely, use hand tools, build basic structures, and finish wooden projects to a high level of detail. Over the course of several short projects, students will gain skills, accumulate experience and build confidence to be able to pursue their own woodworking projects. Activities will be modified to student age and ability.

  • Course pricing includes a $74.00 mandatory course materials fee
  • HST will be added on top of the course fees


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Creativity: Students will explore their creative side by learning how to design and customize their projects.
  • Curiosity: Students will explore the possibilities of Science and Technology. The class will spark their curiosity to learn more.
