Welcome to Musical Beginnings Summer Camp! Designed for children aged 4 to 6, Musical Beginnings invites campers to dive into the world of music with Marice, one of our highly experienced Intro to Music teachers.

Each day, campers learn a different element of music, from rhythm to melody, through fun activities and games. They'll explore instruments, sing songs, and more—all designed to spark their love for music.

At the end of the week, campers showcase what they've learned in a special performance for family and friends. 


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Interpersonal skills: Campers experience learning in community—a lifelong skill rooted in the ability to compromise, share, and listen. Campers learn to regulate their emotions and understand the emotions of others building "camp rules" together and during group activities.
  • Creativity: Campers are invited to explore a plethora of safe and accessible instruments such as boom whackers, bells, the glockenspiel, the piano, bucket drums, and their own voices! By learn musical elements through games, campers begin to understand how expansive music can be.
