Discover the joy of camp—Silver Lake style, right here in Kitchener-Waterloo! 

Silver Lake Day Camps blend outdoor adventure and creative exploration to create unforgettable summer days close to home. Through hands-on activities, active games, music, crafts, and nature exploration, campers grow in confidence, friendship, and new skills. 

A typical day includes team-building games, outdoor challenges, and group activities that inspire curiosity and connection. Led by caring, experienced staff, each day balances fun and learning in a supportive, inclusive environment where every child belongs.

Kitchener Camps will take place at 800 King St E, Kitchener (First Mennonite Church &  Shalom Worship and Healing Center). Those weeks include:

  • Week 2 (Jul 13 - 17)
  • Week 3 (Jul 20 - 24)
  • Week 4 (Jul 27 - 31)

Waterloo Camps will take place at 131 Erb St. W, Waterloo (Erb Street Mennonite Church). Those weeks include:

  • Week 6 (Aug 10 - 14)
  • Week 7 (Aug 17 - 21)
  • Week 8 (Aug 24 - 28)

Our main office is at 50 Kent Ave., Kitchener. DO NOT come to the office as there is no camp programming offered at that location.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Interpersonal skills: Campers build inter-personal skills through teamwork, shared challenges, and creative play. Campers learn to communicate, cooperate, and care for one another while building lasting friendships in a supportive, inclusive environment.
  • Resilience: Campers build resilience by trying new activities, solving problems together, and learning from challenges in a supportive setting. Through outdoor adventures and daily reflection, they grow confidence, adaptability, and a positive mindset that helps them thrive beyond camp.
