Love nature? Curious about wildlife? Want a summer volunteer experience that gets you outdoors, builds your confidence, and helps you make a real impact?
Stanley Park Ecology’s EcoRanger program gives youth the chance to become trained volunteer naturalists in one of Vancouver’s most iconic parks. EcoRangers work in pairs throughout July and August, helping visitors learn about local plants, animals, habitats, and conservation.
You might spend the day answering questions on park trails, sharing cool facts at Beaver Lake, talking about the Stanley Park herons, or helping people understand how to enjoy nature respectfully.
EcoRangers receive naturalist training, gain hands-on experience, meet other people who care about the environment, and build skills in communication, leadership, education, and conservation.
Volunteer applications typically open in April. Watch for the EcoRanger call and get ready for a summer of learning, exploring, and making a difference in Stanley Park.
