We also offer Enrichment Courses for those who are entering an International Baccalaurete (IB) programme, a SAT prep course for students aspiring to attend a post-secondary educational institution in the USA, or a high school prep programme for students who wish to strengthen skills designed to achieve high school success.
Daily classes run from 9am to 4pm on campus and students have the option to attend as either day students or boarding students. Our small class sizes of less than 15 students are optimal for individualized instruction.
The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is a standardized assessment tool used by US College Admissions boards. Led by a professionally certified SAT company, this course is specifically designed to engage students in subject area preparation and test-taking strategies. Over the two-week period, students will participate in three separate diagnostic sessions enabling the instructor to carefully monitor progress and target individual weaknesses. Summary reports will be issued for each student. In addition to the vast instructional material, each student will be provided with unlimited use of an online web tool, that will continue to provide practice and guidance long after the session ends.
This two-week programme is offered as either a day or boarding experience and is intended for students wanting to pursue post-secondary education in the USA and therefore wish to prepare for the SAT test.
Please note: the official SAT test is not part of the course.
IB Prep Enrichment Programme
The International Baccalaureate educational program is a highly respected, world-renowninternational education that develops the individual’s intellectual, emotional, personal and social skills; all of which are needed to thrive in a rapidly globalizing world. This enrichment course assists those who aspire to enroll in the IB diploma or IB certificate programmes by providing an overview of the IB Diploma Programme core which includes: the Theory of Knowledge course, Extended Essay writing, Internal Assessments, creativity, activity and service. Effective research practices, study skills, time management, and inquiry-based learning will also be examined. Developing a clear understanding of the expectations of this academically rigorous educational program, will help to ensure student success.
High School Prep Enrichment Programme
The transition to high school is one that comes with monumental changes and potential insecurities. This programme is designed to help ease this transition and teach students the necessary skills for high school success. Students will gain confidence and a stronger understanding of high school expectations, while focusing on the following important concepts:
