We offer a wide selection of day and boarding camps for ages 4 to 17, with programmes in art, science, sports, and leadership to cater to all interests. Join us this summer for an adventure in learning! Our programs focus on building the fundamental life skills that help campers excel both inside and outside of the classroom, expanding their physical, creative, social and interpersonal skills. Our safe and inclusive campus with world-class facilities offers an unparalleled summer experience in the Niagara Region.

    Because Ridley is annually home to more than 375 boarding students from 59 countries around the world during the school year, our campus is built for activity and engaging overnight boarding experience. Located in the heart of the beautiful Niagara region, our campers are provided with state-of-the-art facilities for their programming, incredible natural wonders of the world, historic landmarks and fantastic entertainment for weekend excursions, all before returning to their room our safe self-contained campus.

Once the profile is complete, you pick your week(s), you pick your camp(s), you pick any additional service items, and your registration is complete.     The Our Kids review of Ridley College Summer Programmes

    our take

    The Ridley summer programs are robust and well attended. More than 1800 enrol each summer, so in a sense the camps have a population that doubles and then some the student population on campus during the school year. The reason they are so popular is because they are so well run. The symphony sessions—there’s one for young musicians who compete for spots, another for tyros—are staffed by members of the Niagara Symphony Orchestra. They’re the only true symphony camps of their kind in the country. Other offerings range across a fairly wide swath of interest, including those that appeal to international students, to those programmed with local kids in mind. It’s a great mix, and even though kids are in different sessions, many of them are run consecutively, allowing a nice interaction between young people of like interest as with as those with divergent interest. The campus is frankly gorgeous, with a wealth of green space. The facilities, too, are top-notch, including outdoor ed equipment, two professional-level performing arts spaces, and a wealth of resources. The camps make extensive use of all of it. The ESL camps are some of the best in the region and beyond. The attraction is multi-faceted, and the proximity to Niagara Falls and Toronto are included within that. The ESL sessions provide international students with a strong camp experience, a residence with peers from around the world, and an intensive language immersion and instruction. In those, and across the summer programs, there’s a lot to love.

    Director's Message

    Hello Campers!

    Summer in Niagara is a uniquely Canadian experience and enjoying it while living and learning on Ridley College’s beautiful 90-acre campus, using our state-of-the-art facilities, makes this opportunity very special.

    The warm summer months at Ridley are a great time for young people to expand their minds, have transformative experiences, make new and lifelong connections and friendships. Just like our academic year, Ridley summer programmes offer a variety of opportunities that focus on the development of the mind, body and spirit of students from our region and from around the globe.   

    Our co-educational programmes offer day and boarding options in Academics, Athletics, Performing Arts, Debate and Leadership. Led by our qualified and experienced teachers and staff, our low camper to instructor ratio provides campers ready access to innovative resources, including our first-class facilities. We offer quality programming on our safe, secure, and accessible campus.

    As they have for decades, summers at Ridley engage campers’ physical, creative, social, and interpersonal skill development, helping them to enhance their confidence, maturity, and critical thinking, all while having a great time!

    Staff and Counsellors

    Camp Ridley’s professional staff is made up of a number of full-time employees including our Manager of Summer Programmes, Boarding lead, Academy Principle and Day Programme Lead. They are supported by full time Ridley faculty and residence staff, as well as a team of seasonal staff, teachers and junior counsellors (plenty are Ridley students), many of whom have been working at our camps for 3-5 years!

Our facilities include: *Tiger Arena with a NHL-sized ice surface for training and competition *Field House with 20,000 square feet of synthetic surface, including a four-lane track for training *Rowing ergometer room with 25 Concept 2 Rowers *Five natural turf playing fields for football and soccer *Five outdoor tennis courts *Three indoor squash courts *Strength and fitness training centre with approximately 1,200 square feet of space for weights, universal machines, stair climbers, treadmills, and stationary bicycles

    More details about accommodations: Ridley features ten unique boarding houses across our beautiful campus. Rooms are singles or doubles depending on the house and are equipped with single beds, desks, shelves, chairs, lockable wardrobes (please bring your own padlock) and bed linens. Each floor has its own modern shared washroom facility. Please note that bath linens are not provided. In addition, each house is equipped with a shared television lounge on the main floor.
