FALCON (First Aid Leadership Camp for Teens) is a dynamic leadership program for teens who are ready to step up, take responsibility, and gain skills that truly matter. Participants receive in-depth training in Standard First Aid and CPR Level C, with the opportunity to earn official certification at no additional cost upon successful completion of skills assessments and the written exam.
This program goes far beyond memorizing steps or watching demonstrations. Teens learn through hands-on practice and realistic, teen-relevant emergency scenarios that challenge them to stay calm, think critically, communicate clearly, and act with confidence under pressure. These are real-world skills that prepare teens not just for jobs or certifications but for moments when someone’s life may depend on them.
And those moments are not hypothetical. One of our FALCON teens from 2025 used the skills she learned in this program to save her brother when he was choking. She didn’t freeze. She didn’t second-guess herself. She recognized the emergency, acted quickly, and used her training to save a life. Often, the person who needs first aid isn’t a stranger—it’s someone you love. FALCON gives teens both the skills and the confidence to act when it matters most.
Designed specifically with teens in mind, FALCON blends medical training with intentional leadership development, teamwork, and problem-solving. As an added enrichment opportunity, participants also observe real medical specimens used in our traditional Medics Camp programming for younger campers. This offers a deeper, more authentic look into human anatomy and medical science.
FALCON is ideal for teens interested in healthcare careers, leadership roles, lifeguarding or employment requiring first aid certification or for any teen who wants to be prepared, capable, and confident in real-life situations. The program runs in a supportive, small-group environment that fosters growth, independence, and lasting friendships.
For FALCON participants considering a future in healthcare, we also encourage teens to apply for a position on the Medics Camp team. This educational work experience can be a meaningful way to stand out on university and college applications, especially for competitive programs such as Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or other healthcare pathways.
