This five-day intensive program will provide strong swimmers ages 11-14 with the opportunity to work toward their Bronze Star certification and their Emergency First Aid for part of each day, and the other portion of the day will be spent working toward building other waterfront skills, including canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, and sailing. Certifications in this program are not guaranteed as certain competencies must be met to achieve the varying levels of certification. Please see the Bronze Star course requirements and Emergency First Aid course requirements for further information regarding competencies that must be met to achieve either of these certifications.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

Physicality: This program places strong emphasis on pushing oneself to achieve the next level, whether swimming or paddling, and requires physicality throughout the day.
Resilience: This certification intensive will invite students to challenge themselves with self-discipline, intrinsic motivation, and a strong willingness to learn from mistakes to achieve the next level.
