The LCS Outdoor Leadership Program helps our oldest campers develop outdoor and leadership skills through hands-on experiences - including a first aid certification, wilderness camping, canoeing, and team-building activities. Our Outdoor Leaders will mentor younger campers by planning theme days and assisting with age-group placements, building confidence and practical skills for future leadership at camp. A Saturday excursion to Canada's Wonderland on Saturday August 15 is included in the program fee.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Interpersonal skills: Campers will actively strengthen their collaboration and cooperation skills in participating in experiences with other campers.
  • Curiosity: Campers will approach this program with curiosity through an opportunity to explore the outdoors.
