Reel Kids Irish Dance

Reel Kids Irish Dance is a playful approach to Irish dance in the early years. The program incorporates early childhood and brain development theory to introduce young dancers to traditional Irish music and dance using conceptual movement and games.

We elevate familiar movements and introduce news ones to inspire joy in our dancers. Dancers squeal and giggle as they jump, stamp, and twirl! Kids love the sense of success that we build into every class. They beg to do it again because they feel that sense of pride within themselves! And as their teachers, we are here to help them feel that sense of pride and confidence. Watch your kids become consumed in a moment of pure joy and exhilaration as they master body and movement. See them become enthralled by how good it feels in their bodies to be dancing.

What we stand for as a studio is empowering dancers to do more of what feels good to them. To do this, we use a lot of reinforcement to build their confidence. And even if the child doesn't get that movement in class, they will continue practicing at home - dancing around the living room, practicing their steps, because it's connected with them and we've made learning easy.

As a parent, you will love how we are devoted to making the learning effortless and joyful. We will use familiar things like Freeze but as a way of really developing strong connections with their body; helping the children to be empowered in their body and to have a sensory connection with how they move and controlling how they move.  We know that watching your child experience joy while learning is one of the most precious things that you can give your child and that's what the Reel Kids program is devoted to.

Dancers will explore rhythm and dance all while laying foundational skills for reading, writing, and creative problem solving.
