Camp Argo is a week-long, water-based summer camp hosted by the historic Argonaut Rowing Club on Toronto’s waterfront, designed for youth who want to try something new and active outdoors. Open to beginners with no prior rowing experience, the camp blends daily on-water rowing sessions with land-based fitness, games, and team-building activities so campers build skills, confidence, and friendships in a supportive, small-group environment. Led by certified counsellors and trained rowing coaches, with structured safety protocols, Camp Argo gives kids a safe, fun way to discover the sport of rowing and enjoy a memorable week on Lake Ontario.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

Interpersonal skills: Rowing is the ultimate team sport, the boat only moves efficiently when everyone works together. Learning to row requires communication, trust, accountability, and empathy towards your crew mates.
Courage: Learning to row asks young people to step outside their comfort zone - it requires mental and physical fitness.
