Saplings provides the perfect introduction to overnight camp for young campers. In this 5-day 4 night overnight session, you can expect your camper to explore a wide range of camp activities, challenges, and games with their cabin groups. Campers will experience all of the classic John Island programs while fostering new friendships.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Resilience: Campers will learn the ability to handle new challanges and tasks.
  • Independence: Campers will learn the ability and willingness to do things on one’s own with self-initiative and self-motivation while participating in camp activities.
