Animation Art Intensives - Virtual Summer Camp for Teens (12+)

Art Intensives are camps designed to accelerate learning and creative growth in a short period of time with personal guidance from an Artist Mentor. Summer is the ideal time to learn some serious art skills and create amazing artwork together with new friends!

Intensives are advanced level 3 programs, so students would benefit from some prior drawing experience, or come prepared for a challenge! Lessons are fully guided by professional artists. Spots are limited! Maximum 12 students to ensure the best learning experience.

Daily Schedule

• Full week only, Monday to Friday (15 hrs / week)
• 11:00am - 12:30pm & 1:30 - 3:00pm Eastern Time (1 hour lunch break) 

Animation 1 - Aug 22 - 26, 2022

Explore the principles of animation with mini step by step projects to learn the art of making things move. Learn various techniques such as the squash and stretch principle and the S+C curve using Krita, a free program used by professionals!

Animation 2 - Aug 29 - Sep 2, 2022

Dig deeper into advanced animation techniques and principles, including a walk cycle and moving background. An open project offers students the chance to bring a subject of their choice to life with guidance from a professional animator.
