In this program participants will learn effective means of communication through play with peers and developing the skills to assist them with their interactions in the classroom and the playground. Each week we focus on the skills relating to certain themes (making friends, personal space, teamwork, sharing, etc.). We involve interactive games, new activities, and opportunities to interact with peers on various levels, depending on the participant’s ability. Social Explorers will run in two different time blocks. Following the intake process, participants will be placed into the class time that is an appropriate peer fit for their current development.
