WetFeet Sailing Camp, age 6-8

Wetfeet is an ideal introduction to sailing for the young child aged 6-8** with little or no previous experience. This course is offered as a one-week program at the end of June, and as a two-week program in July and August. Sessions run Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00* p.m. and drop off from 8:30 a.m.*

This program emphasizes fun while learning the basics of sailing, in a safe and nurturing environment. It is the ideal preparation for CANSail 1 & 2, and hopefully a life-long love of sailing beyond! The boats are provided, with children learning in super stable dinghies that are designed specifically for beginners. Sailors will learn basic steering and sail control skills in a small-group environment. Off the water, instructors teach the points of sail, boat parts, and weather and safety information through games and interactive lessons. Other highlights of this program include surprise theme days and excursions to the beach.
