Spring Break Sun Peaks Ski Trip

The classic journey comes back again!
Every year parents and children are looking for our Sun Peaks trip, and we will have it again! In addition to fun activities and ski lessons, we integrate the Youth Leadership into the program design, making your children grow and transform during the 6 day / 5-night trip.

• Location: Sun Peaks Resort 1280 Alpine Road, Sun Peaks, BC V0E 5N0
• Meeting and Drop off :Location: W36th and Collingwood St. Vancouver BC (Time:  3/20 9AM &  3/25 4 PM )
• Participant Age Requirements: 13+ (Parents welcomed)
• Max Number of Participants: 15
• Fee: Original $2800 VOS discounted price $2500  (Including accommodation, transportation, food, ski pass, and activities fee. Not include Ski & Skate gear rental)

​Cultivate leadership through experiential learning

Leadership development is our education objective for this trip. Participants will form groups, planning and executing activities on their own. Through daily self and group assessment and feedback in team meetings, participants begin to realize the power of understanding the link between their choices, success and consequences. Furthermore, they learn how to become a good leader and follower. 

VOS staff play the role of observer and facilitator, guiding participants to discover and improve their true character development., including respect, responsibility, honesty and a commitment to themselves and others and to work to achieve their best efforts at all times.

Sun Peaks: Canada's second-largest ski area

As its name suggests, Sun Peaks has lots of sunlight, over 200 sunny days in a year.  What makes Sun Peaks unique is its 138 trails of different levels and high-quality snow. Compared with Whistler. Sun Peaks is less crowded to enjoy wintertime activities because of its location in Kamloops (4.5 hours driving time from Vancouver) 

Multiple enrichment activities

• Snowshoeing - Explore the extensive snowshoe trail system in company with new friends.
• Ice Skating Rink - Enjoy the magic of winter while skating at the covered, open-air, NHL-sized ice rink. 
• Dog-sled Tour - Enjoy a thrilling guided expedition climbing nearly 500 feet in elevation on a sled pulled by dogs all the way up to Little McGillivray Lake. 
• Fat Biking - Ride on the fat bikes with oversized tires to explore the beauty of the ski trails at McGillivray lake. 
• Ski Lessons - You will be divided into groups based on your skill level and take on a challenge to go beyond yourself.
