Red Wolf Overnight Camp

Red Wolf Overnight Camp is a fully outdoor summer camp where kids and teens live, play, learn and grow in the woods alongside a close-knit group of peers and experienced mentors.

Days are filled with exploration, games, swimming, campfires, wilderness skills and plenty of time to simply experience life outdoors. Campers sleep in tents, cook over the fire, explore the surrounding forest and take on challenges that build confidence, independence and resilience. Along the way, they form strong friendships, discover what they’re capable of and deepen their connection with nature.

Different Red Wolf experiences offer increasing opportunities for adventure and skill-building as campers grow. From a first week away at camp to longer wilderness experiences, campers are supported by caring mentors while gradually taking on new challenges and greater independence. Our overnight camp offerings include one-week Red Wolf programs, as well as 2-week programs (Woodcrafters and Wildcrafters), each with its own rhythm, level of challenge and opportunities for growth.

Campers spend their days:

• Swimming and canoeing
• Hiking and exploring the forest
• Learning to make and tend fires, and cooking over them
• Carving and other hands-on wilderness crafts
• Building shelters, sometimes even sleeping in them overnight
• Tracking wildlife and learning about the plants and animals around them
• Foraging for wild edibles
• Fishing
• Making bows and arrows and learning to use them safely
• Playing nature games and tackling awareness challenges
• Camouflaging with natural materials
• Heading out on overnight excursions
• Building the skills and confidence to travel through the wilderness

At Red Wolf, campers return home grounded, capable, glowing with a sense of pride, and ready for whatever comes next.
