About this camp

Kids Comedy Camp

What could be more fun than this!  We are excited to bring this program to a camp setting after 6 years in classrooms.  There will be three 5-day camps in Toronto in July 2020, featuring 2 trained comedians as coaches for the campers to develop their comedic arts and literacy skills, creating their own stories - with healthy humour.   Boys & girls practice improv comedy, focusing on stand up comedy skills and joke jams to build confidence and creativity in public speaking. Youth learn age appropriate social and emotional skills, have fun, relax, and reduce the stress and anxiety.  The week culminates with a Comedy Showcase for parents and guardians to attend.  Locations to be announced by January 31.

Reviews & Testimonials

See You Next Summer
Tania Principe — Parent

My son loved the camp, the coaches and the program! He had lots of fun and wouldn't change a thing about the program. See you next summer!

My daughter's confidence grew!
Bethany Nurse — Parent

The best thing about the camp was having my daughter's voice heard and other peers listen to her. She got her feet wet with something that she is passionate about. She was nervous at first because of her anxiety. She doesn't always want to speak in from of others. The coaches were very accepting of her. The open communication strengthened my daughter's confidence and being able to express herself and how she feels about herself. Having others laugh with her brought joy to her natural self. I would give the camp a score of 12 out of 10!

Thanks for Everything!
Laura Macdonald — Parent
