Ready to command the room? The Slingshot Pitch & Persuasion Lab: Public Speaking empowers youth to find their voice and communicate with impact. Hosted at Branksome Hall's innovation hub, this intensive summer program goes beyond basic presentations—it equips students with the tools to captivate any audience.

Participants will master the art of persuasive storytelling, vocal modulation, and commanding body language. Through interactive workshops and personalized coaching, students learn to overcome stage fright, project confidence, and articulate their ideas clearly.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

Courage: Overcoming the fear of public speaking takes immense courage. Students practice stepping out of their comfort zones daily, presenting in front of peers, and learning to manage performance anxiety, ultimately building lifelong social confidence and stage presence.
Interpersonal skills: Great speakers are great communicators. Participants learn to read their audience, adjust their tone, and use persuasive storytelling to connect with listeners. They develop empathy and emotional intelligence by giving and receiving constructive peer feedback.
