Come learn a little bit about all the topics we run at MakerKids!

If you’re looking for inspiring STEM education, this is the right place! In each PA Day, kids make something awesome, create their own projects and collaborate with others. We aim to create a transformative experience for kids to empower them to be creators and not just consumers, to find their inner talents and to discover skills they can use throughout their lives.

Kids will build leadership skills, meet other kids who are makers, make their own projects, and more – with a mix of hands-on, technical and creative projects from all three of our core technology topics (Robotics, Coding, and Minecraft).

To empower the leaders of tomorrow with the skills and mindsets to change the world, MakerKids fosters the skills and mindsets for kids to realize their potential and make anything possible for themselves!

Our kids STEM programs teach and encourage a wide variety of skills.

Soft skills: A) confidence, B) social skills, and C) engagement.

Technical skills: A) coding, B) design, and C) robotics.

Coding is an important language to learn. With the demand for STEM workers continuing to increase, learning coding from an early age is a sure way to gain an advantage in today’s competitive career world. Kids code games, websites and more. They learn how computers work, exercise creativity by coming up with ideas for how their project will look and feel, and build resilience and perseverance when trouble-shooting their code. Learn coding in this one day camp session! Kids will learn to code an video game.

Skills Learned: Resilience, Confidence, Internet Safety, Logic, Game Design, Beta-Testing
