Exploring creative potentials to see novel solutions: Through various trips in the neighborhood led by experienced and caring educators, campers will be exposed to German in a fun and entertaining way. Activities at the Goethe-Institut to support this love of learning and campers' enthusiasm in expiencing the world around them will include exciting games, language art activities, science experiments, movie screenings, and art installations under the care of professional artist Maren Boedeker.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Interpersonal skills: While engaged in a variety of activities, campers will develop the ability to understand the emotions and behaviours of others, and to respond accordingly. The advantage of compromising and active listening will truly deepen their patience, tolerance, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Courage: This bilingual camp challenges its campers and their willingness and ability to face fears and try new things. Children will develop a tolerance for uncertainty while fostering social confidence immensely. The willingness to take on challenges supports resilience, curiosity, and confidence.
