Teens can learn new skills and enjoy the outdoors while experiment with clay on our plaza. Each class is taught by one of our experienced artist-educators, who will teach participants the basic techniques of hand building pottery,  like coiling, scoring, and making pinch pots.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Creativity: Students can tap into their creative potential by sculpting with clay under the guidance of an experienced artist-educator.
  • Curiosity: Participants will engage with the Gardiner Museum's world famous collection of pottery, representing cultures and histories from around the world.

Teens can create with clay outdoors!
In this 2-week workshop on our outdoor plaza, students will learn basic hand-building techniques like making a pinch pot.
