The International Language Camps welcomes campers ages 6–17 to Megève for an international residential experience combining English language learning, Alpine adventures, sports, cultural discovery and international friendships.

With around 40 campers per week, approximately one adult for every five campers, and language classes limited to eight students, ILC intentionally remains small enough to provide personal attention while creating a truly international community.
English Becomes Part of Everyday Life
At ILC, English is much more than a subject studied in the classroom.
Campers attend interactive English lessons adapted to their level, with a strong focus on speaking, listening and communicating with confidence. Classes are limited to eight students, giving every camper opportunities to participate and progress.
But some of the most valuable language practice happens outside the classroom.
English is used while making friends, participating in activities, sharing meals, taking on challenges and spending time with campers from different countries.

An International Community in the French Alps
Meeting young people from other countries is at the heart of the ILC experience.
Campers discover different cultures, hear different languages and learn to communicate with people whose backgrounds may be very different from their own.

Three Programs Designed for Different Ages
Our three programs allow the experience to evolve with each camper's age, interests and growing independence.
FUN Program – Ages 6–9
Designed especially for younger campers, including children experiencing their first residential camp away from home. English learning is combined with playful activities, sports, creative experiences and Alpine discovery in a caring environment.
ADRENALINE Program – Ages 10–13
For campers ready for greater adventure and new challenges. English lessons are combined with outdoor activities, sports and team experiences that encourage confidence, cooperation and increasing independence.
TEENS MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE – Ages 14–17
Our dedicated teen program combines English learning with mountain adventure, international friendships and personal development.
Teenagers are encouraged to become increasingly independent, participate in decisions, communicate within a multicultural group, work as a team and develop initiative, problem-solving and leadership skills.
A Typical Day at ILC
Morning:
Three hours of interactive English lessons adapted to each camper's level, with a maximum of eight students per class.
Afternoon:
Sports, Alpine adventures, outdoor activities, cultural experiences and creative workshops adapted to each age group. Depending on the program and conditions, activities may include hiking, mountain biking, rafting, climbing, swimming and other mountain experiences.
Evening:
Residential campers come together for supervised games, entertainment, social activities and time with their international friends.
The result is a balanced day combining English learning, physical activity, discovery, friendship and personal development.
Premium Hotel Accommodation in Central Megève
One of the distinctive features of ILC is our residential accommodation.
Instead of traditional summer camp dormitories, campers stay at Hôtel Au Vieux Moulin, a high-quality hotel located in the heart of Megève.
After a full day of English lessons and Alpine adventures, campers return to a comfortable hotel environment where they can relax, recharge and spend time with their friends.
ILC staff are present at the hotel day and night, providing continuity of supervision throughout the residential experience.

Small Enough to Know Every Camper
ILC intentionally welcomes around 40 campers per week.

Located in Megève, approximately one hour from Geneva, ILC gives international campers the opportunity to experience one of France's best-known Alpine destinations.
The mountains are not simply the backdrop to the camp – they are part of the experience.
Sports, outdoor activities and excursions allow campers to discover the Alpine environment while sharing adventures with their new friends.
For stays of two weeks or more, Sunday excursions may include destinations such as Chamonix, the Mer de Glace, the Aiguille du Midi, Annecy and other locations in the region.

An ILC summer is designed to help children and teenagers grow through everything they experience.
They improve their English, but they also learn to communicate with people from different cultures, take on new challenges, become more independent, work with others and build confidence.
