A perfect introduction to the traditional camp experience. 12 kids and 3 counsellors per cabin, individual daily activity selection, diligently vetted and trained staff, professional adult supervision. Campers get a selection of all of our instructional activities and receive attentive social and emotional support, all while having the time of their lives in a beautiful wilderness environment.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

Interpersonal skills: Campers learn the art of group living and independent and collaborative problem-solving. Our counsellors support everyone to make friends within their cabins and our individual activity selection allows kids to meet like-minded individuals of all ages and genders.
Resilience: There is no better way to build resilience than by challenging yourself physically and emotionally in a safe and supportive environment like Camp Arowhon. Campers become physically, socially, and emotionally stronger and more confident, traits that serve them throughout their lives.
