    Fair Havens Camp & Conference Centre is a Christ-centred family camp on the shores of the Trent-Severn Waterway in Beaverton, Ontario. For over 85 years, we have served families through one-week summer Family Camp experiences featuring engaging children’s and youth programs, inspiring Bible teaching for adults, worship, and activities like swimming, kayaking, sports, and crafts. We are a multi-generational ministry devoted to renewal, community, and growth rooted in Christ.

    Fair Havens offers an immersive Family Camp experience, geared towards ministering to the family as a whole. Our activities, programs and recreation builds intentional connection to faith and family, while being grounded in biblical teaching. Offering a wide range of accommodations, meal options and recreation, Fair Havens offers families several ways to maximize their experience at camp.

    Registration Details

    Registration for Fair Havens Family Camp opens several months in advance and is completed easily through our online portal. Families can view availability, select their week, and submit payment securely. Space is limited and filled on a first-come basis; no interviews are required. Our team is responsive and happy to assist by phone or email with any questions. A deposit secures your spot, with cancellation policies clearly outlined on our website. We warmly welcome new families and provide clear pre-camp communication to help you prepare with confidence.

    Fair Havens' Christian family camp experience blends faith, rest, and fellowship in the quietude of Creation.     The place looks like paradise. We spent a week immersed in the presence of God, surrounded by nature that brought us a lot of peace, and we felt the care and love of every employee and volunteer who works there.     Director's Message

    Welcome to Summer Family Camp 2026! This will be year number 85, and although we have seen change over the past 5 years, the heartbeat from 1941 continues to resonate throughout this ministry. As I sit and pray over what to write for our 2026 program guide, I am flooded with mixed emotions. On a personal level, last year at this time my life looked very different. As a family we had just relocated to be closer to camp, we had great plans for our first grandchild, Vickie was looking forward to participating in camp life more intentionally, and as a staff we were busy prepping for a fantastic Summer Family Camp season. Then, in what seemed like a whirlwind, our family faced a season of grief and sorrow that I still can not make sense of, and I’m not sure I ever will. And yet, God in his great love for us, brought families, friends and communities together to help us stand. We saw this Fair Havens community pray over us and love on us in ways that were so wonderful, and that story has become part of our testimony and a significant part of our healing. That’s what God does… never leaving us or forsaking us regardless of the depth of our valley. It is THIS experience of true community that has been so transformational for our family, and I pray our guests experience during their stay during Summer Family Camp. God is so good! As I anticipate Summer Family Camp 2026, I look forward to seeing new guests arrive to experience Fair Havens for the first time, while seasoned guests return for more of what keeps them coming back each year! God has woven into each person this desire to be in relationship with Him and with the “others” in our lives. My prayer will always be to see people grow in their relationship and experience with God and others. Together, we have a unique opportunity to do that here through Summer Family Camp!     Staff and Counsellors

    Our counsellors and program staff are passionate, Christ-centred leaders who are committed to helping families grow in faith and connection. Many grew up at Fair Havens and return year after year, creating strong continuity and a caring camp culture. All staff complete thorough training in child safety, emergency procedures, and spiritual leadership. Waterfront staff hold current lifeguarding and first aid certifications, and all team members provide vulnerable sector checks. During programming, our staff-to-camper ratio ranges from 1:5 to 1:8. Campers consistently say their counsellors are the most memorable part of their week.
