Learn key Leadership skills for life! Leader In-Training campers will have the opportunity to develop techniques and strategies for being a confident and competent leader in a camp environment. By utilizing examples of everyday leaders, from sports captains and coaches to business and political leaders, campers will implement these skills into shaping how they would lead a camp group. At the end of each week, campers will have the opportunity to do a placement with a group of younger campers, so they can put their newly developed skills to the test.

Please note there is no camp on July 3rd or August 7th.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Courage: Willingness and ability to face fears and try new things. Tolerance for uncertainty. Social confidence.
  • Responsibility: Willingness to take ownership. Implement skills into shaping how they would lead a camp group.
